The Bajaj Discover has been around for nearly 15 years now, and the design has become a friendly face to commuters. The design is nothing great to talk about, and Bajaj have stuck to the bare basics. The motorcycle sports trademark Bajaj graphics on paint and a straightforward design. The styling imbibes a lot of curves from the design language and this sets it apart from the other motorcycles in the 125cc segment.
The headlamp is the one element which defines the Bajaj Discover 125’s design, as it is large for the bike’s size and instantly recognizable.
The Bajaj Discover 125 is powered by a 124.6cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, DTS-i engine with a maximum power output of 11bhp and a peak torque output of 10.8Nm. The rear-wheel is driven by a 5-speed gearbox. Top speed is claimed to be 110km/h, and though this motorcycle is not one on which one would attempt a 0-60km/h run on, the number is just under 7 seconds.
The straight-up riding position is typical of a commuter motorcycle, and allows for stress-free riding in the city, and in stop and go traffic. However, it can become a bit tedious out on the highway. Handling is definitely not the Discover 125’s forte.
